Olivier Beroud runs his own training, coaching and advisory consultancy. He is a visiting professor at the London Institute of Banking and Finance and a senior advisor on a variety of start-ups in the fintech and trade finance sectors. He also advises a number of UK pension funds. He has over 25 years’ experience in rating agencies and banking. He was until recently Managing Director, Head of EMEA for Moody’s, based in London. In that capacity, Olivier was responsible for the Rating Agency’s strategy and operations. He was previously a Managing Director in Moody’s corporate ratings business.
He sits on the Audit and Assurance committee of the Financial Reporting Council in London and lectures in risk and corporate governance at EDHEC business school as well as at the London Institute of Banking and Finance. Olivier ran Barclays Banks Plc’s Ratings Advisory Group from 2006 to 2011. Prior to that he spent 10 years at Standard & Poor’s as a senior analyst, and worked as a banker for Natixis and as a consultant for Moore Stephens.
